Expressway Service Areas and Parking Areas in Ehime: Parking Spaces by Direction, Shops, Gas Stations and EV Charging
A list of the service areas (SA) and parking areas (PA) on the Matsuyama Expressway and Kochi Expressway in Ehime, and Kurushimakaikyo SA and Kamiura PA on the Shimanami Kaido, with parking spaces for each direction, shop hours, fuel and EV quick charging. It also gives the shop hours during the Iyonada SA night closures and the pavement repair, with their dates.
Summary
- Ehime address confirmed for 6 SAs/PAs on the Matsuyama Expressway, Umatate PA (Kochi Expressway), and Kurushimakaikyo SA and Kamiura PA (JB Honshi, Shimanami).
- A gas station was written only at Ishizuchisan SA (both directions), self-service from 7:00 to 22:00.
- EV quick charging is written as 1 charger each at Ishizuchisan SA and Iyonada SA (both directions) and at Umatate PA (inbound).
- Iyonada SA shops open 7:00–19:00 on the notice dates (October 13–16, spare days October 19–22). Outbound parking is reduced until October 30.
- The official GS map shows 2 km (Ishizuchisan SA to Iyo-Komatsu JCT), 98 km (Iyo-Komatsu JCT to Seiyo-Uwa IC) and 60 km (Imabari IC to Nishiseto-Onomichi IC).
The SAs and PAs Checked in Ehime: 6 on the Matsuyama Expressway, 1 on the Kochi Expressway, 2 on the Shimanami Kaido
On the NEXCO West Japan SA/PA information site, the following 13 pages (1 page each for inbound and outbound) had an Ehime address.
- Matsuyama Expressway: Kamibun PA, Irino PA, Ishizuchisan SA, Sakurasanri PA, Iyonada SA and Uchiko PA (6 places, 12 pages for both directions)
- Kochi Expressway: 1 page for Umatate PA (inbound). A page for Umatate PA outbound was not found
As far as page numbers were tried in order, no SA or PA with an Ehime address was found on the Takamatsu Expressway or the Imabari-Komatsu Expressway. The site says that Toyohama SA on the Takamatsu Expressway is in Kanonji City, Kagawa Prefecture.
On the Ehime side of the Shimanami Kaido (Nishiseto Expressway), the JB Honshi Expressway pages have Kurushimakaikyo SA (inbound and outbound combined) and Kamiura PA (outbound only).
Places to rest after leaving the expressway are in 29 Roadside Stations in Ehime. Komatsu Oasis (小松オアシス), the roadside station at Ishizuchisan Highway Oasis, is also there.
How to Read the Table
- Direction: This is the “inbound” or “outbound” wording of each page. Each page gives a destination for each direction. Kamibun PA is “Inbound: Kochi direction” and “Outbound: Matsuyama direction”. Irino PA and Ishizuchisan SA are “Inbound: Takamatsu, Kochi, Tokushima direction” and “Outbound: Matsuyama direction”. Sakurasanri PA is “Inbound: Kawanoe direction” and “Outbound: Matsuyama direction”. Iyonada SA and Uchiko PA are “Inbound: Matsuyama direction” and “Outbound: Uwajima direction”.
- Parking spaces: These are the numbers of large, small and shared spaces in the “Parking” column of the NEXCO West Japan page. The pages do not explain what “shared” means. The numbers of spaces for motorcycles, trailers and people with disabilities are written separately, and they are not in the table.
- Dora-Plaza: The Dora-Plaza (ドラぷら) site of NEXCO East Japan also gives the number of parking spaces at the same SAs and PAs. Where the numbers differ from the NEXCO West Japan page, both are listed. The pages do not show which number is the current one.
- Opening hours: These are the hours on the NEXCO West Japan page. Changes caused by construction or night closures are in “Changes With Dates” later.
- Date checked: October 13, 2026. The pages do not give an update date.
- Sources column: “NEXCO West Japan” is the facility page of the SA/PA information site. “Dora-Plaza” is the facility page of Dora-Plaza.
Matsuyama Expressway (Toyo): Kamibun PA, Irino PA, Ishizuchisan SA
Kamibun PA and Irino PA are in Shikokuchuo, and Ishizuchisan SA is in Saijo.

The numbers of spaces differ between the 2 sites at Ishizuchisan SA inbound (small: 88 on NEXCO West Japan, 76 on Dora-Plaza), at Ishizuchisan SA outbound (large: 44 and 19; small: 65 and 76), and at Irino PA inbound. The pages do not give the reason.
The Ishizuchisan SA page lists “Outdoor Oasis Ishizuchi, Tsubaki Koryukan (Tsubaki Onsen Komatsu)” (アウトドアオアシス石鎚、椿交流館（椿温泉こまつ）) as its Highway Oasis. The roadside station article says that Tsubaki Koryukan has been closed since April 1, 2025.
Matsuyama Expressway (Chuyo): Sakurasanri PA, Iyonada SA
Sakurasanri PA is in Toon, and Iyonada SA is in Iyo.

Matsuyama Expressway (Nanyo): Uchiko PA
Uchiko PA in Uchiko Town has only vending machines, both inbound and outbound.

After Uchiko PA, going toward Uwajima, no next SA or PA to rest at on the Matsuyama Expressway in Ehime was found. The road that leaves at Seiyo-Uwa IC is in From Matsuyama Airport to Unomachi.

Shimanami Kaido: Kurushimakaikyo SA and Kamiura PA (JB Honshi Expressway)
On the Ehime side of the Shimanami Kaido, the SA/PA information of JB Honshi Expressway has 2 places. The “Search SA/PA” page of JB Honshi Expressway says that, on the Nishiseto Expressway, inbound is toward Honshu and outbound is toward Shikoku.

The JB Honshi Expressway page says this about how to enter Kurushimakaikyo SA.

Translation: “※ To go to Kurushimakaikyo SA from the Shikoku side, please enter at Imabari IC and come to Kurushimakaikyo SA. Kurushimakaikyo SA is a service area combined for both directions. ※ Please note that you cannot stop at Kurushimakaikyo SA from the Imabari-kita IC entrance.”
The rule on the direction at Imabari-kita IC is also in ICs on the Shimanami Kaido and the Matsuyama Expressway Where the Direction You Can Go From the Entrance Is Fixed.
The JB Honshi Expressway list of SA/PA opening hours (dated September 24, 2026) includes the shop, food court and cafe corner of Kurushimakaikyo SA, and the hours are the same as in the table above. Kamiura PA has its name in a heading, but there is no line for opening hours.
The Gas Station Is at Ishizuchisan SA. The Distance to the Next One Is on the Official Map
On the NEXCO West Japan pages checked, only Ishizuchisan SA inbound and outbound had an item for a gas station. Both are Taiyo Oil, 7:00–22:00, and the pages say self-service. The same content is also on the official GS map.
The NEXCO West Japan page “GS map and gasoline prices” asks drivers to refuel early.
高速道路での燃料切れは重大事故につながります。 余裕をもって早めの給油をお願いします。
Translation: “Running out of fuel on an expressway leads to serious accidents. Please refuel early, with time to spare.”
The GS map on the same page (a PDF; the page says “information as of September 7, Reiwa 8 (2026)”) gives the following distances for the expressways in Ehime. The legend of the map explains the red dots as “start and end points of the distance.” The table below shows numbers read by eye from the map.

A note in the margin of this map says it leaves out the SAs and PAs without a gas station. Between Iyo-Komatsu JCT and Seiyo-Uwa IC, and between Imabari IC and Nishiseto-Onomichi IC, no SA or PA with a gas station is on the map. The margin also says “the distances are a guide” (距離は目安です). Whether the map gives different distances for inbound and outbound could not be read from the map.
The JB Honshi Expressway pages of Kurushimakaikyo SA and Kamiura PA have no item for a gas station.
Where EV Quick Charging Is
The NEXCO West Japan page “Refueling and charging (EV quick charging stations)” lists these installed places in Ehime.
- Matsuyama Expressway: Ishizuchisan SA (both directions, in the Highway Oasis) and Iyonada SA (both directions)
- Kochi Expressway: Umatate PA (inbound). The same line also has Tachikawa PA (outbound) and Nankoku SA (both directions) in Kochi Prefecture
On the facility page of each SA and PA, the EV quick charging station is open 24 hours. Ishizuchisan SA says “1 charger installed in the Highway Oasis”, and Iyonada SA and Umatate PA say “1 charger installed”. The output (kW) and the operating company were not written on the pages checked.
Kamibun PA, Irino PA, Sakurasanri PA and Uchiko PA have no mention of EV quick charging.
The JB Honshi Expressway page on EV quick charging stations lists only Setoda PA (inbound and outbound) on the Nishiseto Expressway. Kurushimakaikyo SA and Kamiura PA are not listed. This page names e-Mobility Power Co., Ltd. as the operator and gives the hours as 24 hours (open all year).

Changes With Dates: Shorter Hours During Night Closures, Pavement Repair, Renovation
Shorter hours at Iyonada SA (dates in the notice)
The NEXCO West Japan SA/PA information site published a notice dated September 14, 2026 on changes to opening hours during night closures of the Matsuyama Expressway.
松山自動車道及び徳島自動車道において、道路工事による夜間通行止めに伴い、各店舗の営業時間を下記のとおり変更いたします。
Translation: “On the Matsuyama Expressway and the Tokushima Expressway, the opening hours of each shop will be changed as below because of night closures for road construction.”
In the table in the image of the notice, Iyonada SA (both directions, food and goods) is shortened to 7:00–19:00 (last order for food 18:30). The usual hours are written as 7:00–22:00 in the table. Of these dates, the ones from September 28 to October 9 had already ended on October 13, when this was checked.

The notes under the table say that the hours of the Welcome Gate follow the opening hours of the areas above, and that the opening hours will also change if a night closure is suddenly canceled. The table does not give the year. The notice is dated September 14, 2026, and the days of the week match 2026.
This notice also covers Yoshinogawa SA and Kamiita SA on the Tokushima Expressway. The hours of EV quick charging are not written in this notice.
Fewer parking spaces at Iyonada SA (outbound) because of pavement repair
The facility page of Iyonada SA (outbound) describes work in the parking lot.
以下の期間、舗装補修工事に伴い、駐車マスが最大約半分まで減少、トレーラーマスが利用不可となります。 令和8年8月24日（月曜）～令和8年10月30日（金曜）
Translation: “During the period below, because of pavement repair work, parking spaces will be reduced by up to about half, and trailer spaces cannot be used. Monday, August 24, Reiwa 8 (2026) to Friday, October 30, Reiwa 8 (2026)”
October 13, 2026 is within this period. The page of Iyonada SA (inbound) has no mention of the same work.
Renovation of Ishizuchisan SA (outbound)
At Ishizuchisan SA (outbound, Matsuyama direction), work on the shops continues toward a renewal opening in spring of Reiwa 9 (2027). A NEXCO West Japan notice (dated April 17, 2026) describes the renovation like this.
レストランをフードコート化すると共に、店内内装や照明を一新し、明るく心地よい空間に生まれ変わります。
Translation: “The restaurant will become a food court, and the interior and lighting will be renewed, making it a bright and comfortable space.”
- From May 11, 2026, work goes on corner by corner in turn
- On August 5 at 7:00, the food court reopened after renovation (open 24 hours). This is in the notice dated July 22
- From August 17, phase 2 of the work. The baby corner is closed, and the shopping corner operates on a reduced scale. The diaper-changing tables in the restroom building can be used
The baby corner field on the facility page has this note.
※8/17～10月末まで店内工事に伴い使用できません。おむつ台はトイレ内にありますのでそちらをご利用ください
Translation: “※ From 8/17 to the end of October, it cannot be used because of work inside the shop. Diaper-changing tables are in the toilets, so please use those.”
The notices checked do not say how long the reduced shopping corner will continue. Ishizuchisan SA (inbound) has no mention of the same work.
The Date Checked, and What Could Not Be Checked
The numbers and opening hours in the table were checked on each page on October 13, 2026.
- On the NEXCO West Japan SA/PA information site, the facility page numbers were tried in order, and the pages with an Ehime address were collected. The list page of SAs and PAs could not be obtained (access to the top page was refused). There may be other SAs or PAs on the list that were not collected.
- The places where the facility page and Dora-Plaza give different numbers of spaces are Ishizuchisan SA (inbound and outbound), Irino PA (inbound) and Iyonada SA (inbound). The reasons have not been confirmed.
- The pages checked do not say whether the toilets can be used 24 hours.
- The fuel distances are numbers read by eye from the figure in the GS map PDF. Which IC each red dot is was read from the marks and names in the figure.
- Opening hours and work periods may change. Before you leave, please check the SA/PA information of NEXCO West Japan and JB Honshi Expressway. Where to look is summarized in Where to Check Ehime Road Information Before You Leave.
